As Confused Gamer said, the series could easily be 2-1 Rangers right now. The way they won Game 3 will give them great motivation and drive. They overcame a horribly-called disallowed goal and played nearly 100 minutes of good hockey (the first real playoff test for King Henrik). Avery was also 10x better in G3 than in the previous two games, somehow skating circles around a Buffalo team that's supposed to be the fastest in the league.

Anything can happen in these playoffs, but I like the Rangers chances. As such, I think the winner of tonight's game (G4) wins the series.

well, they have outplayed them the last 2 games (and only have 1 win) I think with fair officiating and a lucky bounce or 2 they can DEFINITELY WIN! I was there Sunday and will be at the Garden Tonight, I wouldnt be spending crazy money if i didnt think they had a chance. Also, Buffalo had the most points the second 1/2 of the season, the Rangers were 2nd with only 2 less points than buffalo.

1st of all it is the Sabres not the sabers and 2nd of course they have chance. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.
Seriously though the Sabres are not unbeatable as seen in this series and last but, I do think it will be hard to beat them 4 times in a 7 game series. But who knows?

As a man who specifically looks at hockey teams, the rangers should be leading the series 2-1 because they have outplayed buffalo and they have the players to advance to the next round. Bufffalo has a team full of inexperienced rookies, when the rangers have a team full of players who are used to the "playoff stress".

The Sabres always seem to play to the level of their opponent. They also seem to rise to the occasion after being challenged. I would expect to see a strong performance from the Sabres come game 4. With that said, I don't think that Jagr can keep up his performance, and I believe that the Rangers defense will be worn out a little more after the long game 3. Their best defenseman played a very long time, and from what I could see, is still not feeling 100% after coming off the injury. I feel that this is going to hurt the Rangers, and eliminate their chances of beating the Sabres.

absolutely.

They have the weapons to do so. Aside from game 1, they've hung in there the following games and the series could have easily been 2-1 Rangers now. That's the beauty of the playoffs....you're never out of it. Just boils down to who wants it more each game.

Only if Lundqvist plays like the second coming of Glenn Hall and Terry Sawchuk combined, or if Ryan Miller suddenly turns into a piece of swiss cheese.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Not likely, but anything can happen. It is, afterall, the NHL. Upsets happen.

Of course...crapffalo is so over rated its ridiculous....The rangers will take it in 7 if the refs don't hand it to crapffalo before that
