It's a storyline that has Cena as face with HBK now a heel .DX look set to split for the time being when HHH returns in August.Shawn has gone back to a heel again to feud with Cena.
I read on 1 of the websites that HBK will in fact get a rematch at Judgment Day on May 20th.A 1-on-1 match against Cena which i hope Shawn wins as he deserves it.He's the one who spotted HHH's quad injury in the match against Orton & Edge & got the DQ to allow Hunter medical attention.How many ppl are that quick?

First off, Cena has come along so far it's impossible not to be impressed. The near 1 hour match on Raw last week?! Fantastic by BOTH Cena & Michaels.
As for your question, HBK doesn't need anything to get over any more than he is. The same could be said about 'Taker but the person who beats 'Taker for the title will be the next mid / carder who will become a top man because 'Taker puts him over. It will probably be Ken Kennedy.
Basically, Shawn doesn't need the title and anyone who beats Cena for the belt will get more of a rub than they would if they beat the old Showstopper.

HHH is good friends with HBK in real life, and The Game is married to Vince's daughter, so Vince likes HBk and HHH.

They are actually very good friends. Shawn has helped get vince to where he is today. It is just a story line and vince has helped shawn through his troubles and injuries. If they were really enimies shawn would not be in the WWE this long,

Well, that's the storyline they are running. Vince can't really hate him, because he's the best friend of Triple H, Stephanie's husband and Vince's granddaughters father.
