I used to look at thumbs-up/down but I was noticing that i would get thumbs down for saying something nice or not exactly what the asker wanted. I thought that was bull so now I don't worry about that. However when I ask a question, I do like to look back pretty quickly to see who responded.

Yes, I do. I like it when people give me a thumbs up and even a thumbs down because it means my answer affected that person in some way whether it be good or bad. Nothing at all usually mean it didn't even register.

I couldn't care less if or how people respond to me. There are more important things to worry about than how people perceive me.

I get a little dissapointed if no one answers. I wait a few minutes before checking so that everybody has time to get their response in.

Sometimes,it just depends on how interested I am in other peoples feelings on my response.Most of the time it's just to help or have a bit of fun.
