Last Sunday I purchased a 9 karat gold cigarette case with a crest motto upon it. monogram on it. Yesterday I found the goldsmith maker's name as William Neale LTD in Birmingham in 1919. The motto I ID-ed as being for the Radcliffe family. This means the case belonged to General Sir Percy (Pollexfen de Blaquiere) Radcliffe who had a fine British Army career and was Director of Military Operations from 1918 - April 1922 and had a great war record for the British Expeditionary Force during WWI. The case alone weighs 135.3 grams (4.35 troy ounces) of 9 karat gold (.375 pure). Oh don't you love English history Sweetie

I woke up at 4 a.m., forced myself to go back to sleep, got up at 6:30 a.m., dashed right straight out of the house to the store, and within half an hour had my husband's lunch ready for him to leave at 7 a.m.
I'm normally not a "bounce out of bed" person.

While taking my son to school this morning he asked if i could bake him an apple pie for lunch, (dessert). I told him i would try, well i have just taken it out of the oven. Looking forward to seeing a great big smile when i pick him up for lunch. =)

Went and got party favors for my grandson's class for Thursday. (it's his 8th b-day). Also got the stuff to make 30 cupcakes, Capri sun, potato chips, goldfish, etc. Then I fixed the goodie bags when I got home. Hooray for me!
