Ok :
F(x) = x^2 - 11x - 12
F(x) = 0
(x - 12)*(x+1) = 0
x = 12 and x = -1

for the x intercept, the value of y = 0.
x2 - 11x - 12 = 0
(x-12) (x+1) = 0
x = 12 or x = -1
