When I was a little girl, I read a book about the 'Cloud Kings and Queens'. Now there were two types of Kingdoms, one which was the good and happy Kingdom, other dark and gloomy. Then one day, the gloomy cloud kingdom gets a 'bit of sunshine' from the good kingdom and from ugly they become cheerful and good as well. One line which I memorized from that story book ( I used to skip to it) was, "the Gray Cloud Queen so ugly and mean, all shriveled and shrunk like an overcooked bean. Ears like and elephant, nose like a beak, when she walks by, all her bones creak". Does anyone out there have any recollection of this book? I would love to find out it's title or author. For some reason, I feel I have to have it. Thanks to all that answer!

I'm sorry that I don't know your book, but if your question goes unanswered, here are some other places you can post your description:

http://www.loganberrybooks.com/stump.html
Loganberry Books is a bookstore in Ohio. For two dollars (you can pay by PayPal), the owner will post your query to the "Stump the Bookseller" page. I've seen a lot of success here. This is the oldest place on the web that I know of that ID's books.

http://forums.abebooks.com/abesleuthcom
AbeBooks.com's "BookSleuth Forum" is an interactive message forum where you can get instantaneous feedback on your description. Make sure you read the "TIPS" thread before posting, because it contains a lot of information to help you formulate a good post. Members are from all over the world. It is free, but you must register before posting.

http://www.whatsthatbook.com
This is a relatively new website, but seems to be fairly well attended. You have to register to post.

Good luck in finding your book!

i might want to side with the "solid," and bypass heavy on the quadruplets of air, fireplace, water and earth to strive against Ivy and whoever might want to be on her side. i do not comprehend who all the acquaintances are, so can't say who's solid or who's evil. I merely comprehend that the elements are solid. Quadruplets who're really the elements will be a stong stress to guard and coach Amethyst on the proper of the tale. also, i imagine it really is a superb attempt through a 13 12 months-previous, and also you have to be proud... you're a author!
