Is it true that more Iraqis are now dead than were under Saddam? Who is to blame now that Saddam has been hanged? How can we stop this madness.

The blame goes with the insurgents. These are the criminals who hide in civilian clothes, use family homes and mosques as bunkers, and have children as human shields to protect them.

These are acts of war criminals as our soldiers can't determine if they are encountering a terrorist or a civilian. And war criminals have no rights under the rules of war and should be shot on site.

It looks like Bush has caused more death and destruction in 4 years than Saddam did in 35 years.

Some of the numbers are skewed to make Saddam look like a bad man and visa versa. But remember in his trial how the Thousand of dead Kurds turned into something like 150 Iranian combatants.

The media is twisting the truth and the FCC is demanding a squelch of critical information. (I'm not complaining about not airing secret information)

It seems like the BBC has a good take on the numbers. And Bush is on top as best killer.

More civilians are dead, yes. If you include the number of conscripted Iraqi soldiers that Saddam sent to their deaths, then we still have a way to go to match him.

That's not a question that can be answered with any certainty, since neither number is known with any accuracy. However, the Iran-Iraq War, alone, cost more lives than the 'War in Iran' has so far, so probably not.

Under Hussein, Iraqi's lived. Not under the best conditions, but as long as people steered clear of politics, they were under no threat and enjoyed luxuries that many Western nations dream of.
I say take to the streets and demand Bush be placed on trial for war crimes as Hussein was. Then repeat process with every other US president still alive today.
Genocide must never be pardoned.

You can include the leader of Al Qeida in that! And blame the terrorist for all the rest.

Don't advocate surrender as a means to stop it.

Gosh! I wonder what luxuries Martial E is talking about? Where their torture chambers that nice? lol

Blame them. They are not doing anything to stop it.
