I found SAT math to be very different from the math learned in class. What I would suggest doing is buying an SAT prep book from a local bookstore (i.e. Borders or Barnes and Noble). Also, you can take free practice tests on http://www.collegeboard.com/ .

Sometimes in maths i find it makes more sense when you can apply a formula to a situation. Such as knowning why you would use the work you are doing in real life, and going into the depth of why formulas work to understand them better. This cannot be done for all formula but i can be for some.
I am sorry i cannot help more than this it is a very hard question to answer, everyone is talented at something and maths may just simply not be your strong point. I am the opposite to you i can remember my maths work better than i can science, however i passed my science because i worked hard, but i am glad i dont have to do it anymore.
I must also say don't put all your time into revising your maths if you are still struggligng, obviously revise hard, but make sure you dont lower your grades in your other subjects through trying to improve one.

Kate is right, try to learn the reasons and the logic behind each step. Then you don't get bogged down with memorizing. Also the key rule is to try a practice test without looking at the answers until you are done. Then go through it and find your week spots, spend some time doing practice problems in these areas. Then try another practice test.
The worst thing you can do is try to study with the answers in front of you. You need to learn to work through the problems.

I agree with the posters above, the prep book will help you a lot. There are several sample tests in it. Set a timer, and take a few practice tests. This way, you are familiar with the type of questions that will be on the test, and you will be used to answering while timed. Good luck!

take notes and study with a partner because when you study with a partner you have more fun and study longer. also go over old stuff everyday to keep them in your mind and if that doesent work then just try your best because nobody could do everything i suck at science no matter how hard i try

I think the best skill to master in Math is to check your results by putting your answers back in equations to see if you are correct.
