You gotta remember that many on the left envy what communists and totalitarian dictatorships have; total control. And what could be better for America (besides a nuclear weapon going off on our soil) than the liberal elite not only telling us how to live and what to believe, but actually having the power to put it all into practice.
Libs will always love and admire dictators because they say the same things that they do, that they hate America, it needs to stop fighting tyranny, and we need to put the people who think they are the elite of society in charge and give them more power.

Chavez is destroying his country. Anyone who thinks he's anything more than a thug is fooling themselves. The oil companies are getting nervous. If I were them I would get out fast.

Liberal like Chavez because of his power they want that power its how greedy they are they will do anything to get it even if they have the same government as Venezuela a dictatorship which is big government that way they control the power of congress thats why we left England remember.

I've met many liberals and conservatives from Venezuela who think Chavez is a dictator and a criminal who should be in jail.

I am a liberal and don't love Chavez. I urge you to read. Read a lot - everything, even "The Catcher in the Rye," when your Mommy's not looking. I think your parents should be arrested for letting their child watch Fox News all day.

I never meet the man.
But I was impressed that he gave home heating oil to the Grandmothers last winter.
As Bush and his OIL cronies were making money and laughing at the poor women and children going without heat. Chavez ordered CONOCO to distribute heating fuel to the needy.

What the hell did Chavez do to harm the US? By the way, we support Chavez being in office, because he was actually democratically elected (unlike someone else). You may disagree with me here, also, but we Americans have no right to call for the overthrow of another country's leader if he was democratically elected and he poses no threat to us.
