With the edition of Moss and all the other pickups in the off season, can anyone line up with New England this year.

I'm not a New England fan, so this is not a New England suck up question.

Not so much the addition of Moss as the revampoing the receiving game as a whole. It was a weakness last year, and if Moss is his old self again, it will be more then remedied between he, Welker, Washington, Stallworth, and the returning Jackons, Caldwell, and Gaffney.
Don't forget about the two young tight ends either, Thomas, and Watson, as well as Maroney coming out of the backfield as a number 1. He may have durabilkity issues, but it is yet to be seen. Oh yeah they have that Brady guy.

The Defense. Adalius Thomas, Mike Vrable, Tedy Bruschi, and Rosey Colvin will be a huge set of linebackers to go up against. That is if they get a chance to do anything standing behind guys like Wilfork Warren and Seymour. It they can nail down Samuel, he and the likes of hobbs and others are a year older and more experienced. Once either Harrison or Wilson falls out for the year with an injury, It will be nice to see Meriweather step in.

Scary Team

Their coach is a genius and they are the only dynasty in football right now.

But the Colts are tough, and they've gotten over their fear of New England.

I don't think Randy Moss is going to have as much of an impact as people are saying. I think he's lost it from his glory days and is now basically just another receiver. He could disrupt the team, too. I have a lot of faith in the Pats coaching staff, and for the price they got him at, I guess it was a safe gamble, but Moss isn't going to win a Super Bowl for the Pats.

They did draft well though. As long as Belichick is in New England, the Patriots will always be tough.

Though the Pats have added seemingly a whole new roster they may have sacrificed chemistry. And lets not fool ourselves that is a huge part of NFL success. By adding 4 new receivers that means the Brady will have no more than 2 players familiar with his style. They don't have a proven back up to Maroney and this is a 2 back league last I checked. And while their front 7 on D is beautiful as ever their secondary is questionable. Samuel wants more money or out and with the addition of Stallworth, Thomas and Moss I don't see him gettin paid. Harrison is nasty as ever but old and Merriweather has questionable character if I ever saw it. I still remember him attempting murder on that FIU player with his helmet...funny but will he be able to stay out of trouble? So while the have beefed up the talent on the field will they be a team? I don't think so but will see if Belicheck has a miracle up his sleeve.

Are you kidding?

They just got Randy Moss, there's no way that anyone is going to touch them. There's going to be a highlight every game. They added to their defense by adding Brandon Merriweather which helps the defensive backs and they're loaded on offense.

Who's going to touch them? The Dolphins? LOL. The Jets are too young. And Buffalo doesn't have ANY stars; plain and simple, they're garbage.

The Colts have better offense but their defense got worse. San Diego lost all their coaches and didn't draft well, while Pittsburgh kept the same team. The Broncos probably have the only chance of stopping them and that's because of Champ Bailey, regardless of Champ though, every Sunday, all you'll hear is Randy Moss catching a touchdown pass for the game winner. BLEURGHH!

I'm not even going to mention the NFC. >_>

moss' attitude this year will be a big factor, and i truly think he knows its his last chance. with brady, you always know they are a contender. adding thomas to a stout d i think is their best addition. brady having high quality recievers is a fringe benefit bcause hes shown he can win with average ones and making them better. if moss lets brady lead him and he humbles himself for the team keeping his mouth shut new england is my favorite. not a pats fan either but a fan of football

The AFC is still wide open with probably 8 teams fighting for the SB. New England has improved themselves but unbeatable? Not hardly.

A couple team will be able to go punch to punch with them. Indy, San Diego and dont forget Denver after all they do have 2 of the best CB's in the game in Champ Bailey and Dre Bly.

I agree with you the Pats look good on paper-but they dont play the game on paper know what i mean?? Look at the Chargers last year they kicked *** all season-get to the playoffs and lose their first game.
