In your home or office, something is on the floor and nobody cares to pick it up but to the contrary, walk by it? It nerves me, to pick everybody elses things up! Geeezzzz!!!!!!!!!

I've watched my kids and husband ALL avoid stuff, I've also deliberately put stuff on the floor just to see how lazy they can be!
Does that make me a bad person?

clo,clo,clo,"Calm down girl",don't burst a vein over something so mundane. I have the answer to your annoying problem. Here's what I do. I kick the offending "piece-o-crud" as hard as I can,if in the house preferrably under the couch,never to be seen again. This relieves unwanted tension and makes you feel a hecka lot better. Nobody will kill you for this move. They'll be afraid to. Take my word. Peace out clo.

Yeah, my kids and my boyfriend do this all the time. It drives me friggin crazy!!! I have done the same thing that you have done, although i let it sit there just to see how long it takes for someone to pick it up. And guess what, I am the one that usually picks it up because I just can't stand it any longer!!!

Yes it happens. I especially like it when Ive just cooked and cleaned the kitchen and it looks beautiful. Then someone decides to get a drink of something and puts the dirty glass in the sink. It sits there in my just washed and shiny sink looking like its saying "ah ha! you try and have a clean kitchen, but I, the helpless inanimate object am going to ruin your attempts time after time. I am powerless yet I have the power to ruin you! You will go down in defeat!" That is until I go find the offender and ask them "Have you lost your mind?! put that glass in the dishwasher!"
Yeah it happens to me sometimes.....no big deal....lol !

No, I never pick it up because I know the two women in my office WILL pick it up. I tell them that we have cleaning people to do that, but they cannot stand to see something on the floor. Even footprints!! Lighten up, ladies.

Yes it annoys me that it's usually me who picks it up but I place it in front of or give to whoever it belongs to and tell them it was on the floor and I don't know where they want it ,they soon learn.

Everybody knows it there and is ignoring it. This sounds like some kind of mind game. Make it the focus of conversation and leave it where it is. They want to play mind games - then so can you.

We have a supervisor at work who will call us from across a room to pick up something at her feet. I think I have cured her of it though, I just look at it and walk away.

once in 4 grade someone dropped a tampon on the floor and everyone ignored it and it was there the whole day! that was actually seriously hillarious! lol but yea i hate when ppl do that! it gets on my nerves!
