I can't afford classes in my town, so are there any online sites that tell you how to do it?

You'll eventually have to take lessons if you want to learn the dances. There's just no substitute. There are clips all over the net, but I haven't found any really good ones. The best of what's there is at ballroomdancers.com, IMHO.

The bar scene is actually pretty good on Wednesdays and Thursdays also if you go to Broadripple. It's a smaller bar town not far from downtown that has more pub type bars and only a couple clubs. They also have some neat stores to see during the day. If you go downtown earlier you can go to Gillian's. They have a levels of things to do; there is an arcade, bowling alley, dance club, resturant....and it's on the strip of downtown bars. Howl at the moon is a fun piano bar downtown that is pretty popular with the mid to late 20's crowd. Unless you want hip hop kind of stuff then I would go to Tiki Bob's or Have A Nice Day Cafe. Something else to do during the day if you haven't is to check out the Children's Museum. I'm 25 and everytime I go with my friends we have a blast. It's a really cool place. Have a good time.

Try to find group classes that you can take at least once in a while. If you look - I'm sure you can find something for $8 per class. It is nearly impossible to learn couple dancing from the internet.
