4/30 – What attraction was originally planned as a walk-through wax museum?

It was Pirates of the Caribbean. Way back in 1957 and 1958, when Disneyland was starting to make New Orleans Square a seperate part of the park, they were trying to try and make the area more popular.

The original plan was to make it a wax museum that guests could walk through and see pirates. They later decided to make it into a ride instead of a museum.

I think it was a good choice to go with the ride!

Pirates of Caribbean is the correct answer but like others said, my first guess would have been Hall of Presidents too.

I have but would definitely for a slice of that homemade chocolate cake. I had done that for very short distances but it was too hot for the snakes & no bugs either.
