No, seriously, he was really paranoid and narcissistic, and thought the world revolved around him and also that other people actually KNEW the effect they had on him. It takes a huge ego to think that.

I hope to goodness when I'm doing my cowardly shooting spree nobody like Lt. Dan shows up to spoil my party! Because Lt. Dan would validate my ticket with absolutely no reservations because he can't stand cowards who hurt people!
