Insulting and using terms of abuse is just another stupid way to cope with a problem or 'get along' with a person who one doesn't really like or doesn't like a special behaviour/trait etc.

There are hetero- and homosexuals insulting each other, for (in most of the cases) one feels personally attacked or anything.

I don't like the expression 'breeder', nor 'f.ggot', nor 'dyke'. I think it's childish.

Another generalization.

SOME homosexuals call
SOME heterosexuals breeders.

Just like SOME heterosexuals call
SOME homosexuals F@gs, ******,
and many other offensive things.

Some humans are just rude.

My dear young Lady, it's a derogatory term that I don't use, in fact, I find it offensive. It implies that we don't have children and that the heterosexuals are the only ones that do or can (which is silly as many of us do have beautiful families).

OH, darn. I am in the minority, here. I'm straight and I thought it was really funny. Like being a bunch of bunnies.

I guess I'm not too socially adept.

They have trouble accepting people for who they are. Calling others derogatory names, putting others down is a way to feel superior over others.

People just can't accept those who are different than they are.

For the same reason we get called 'fags'.

It is sort of weird though come to think of it, because some gay people have kids, so they'd be gay breeders.

I've heard that term and don't really like it. I'm gay, but I also have 2 children. I think it's a little demeaning.
