There are many reasons that people like to bash gays. They have been shown by the religious people that it's alright. They grew up with the preconceived notion that gay = evil. They feel that the gay community is a threat to value and morals. They fear the gay community. They are ignorant and bash what they don't understand. The sad part is that everyone one of these reasons are wrong especially the "religious" people, for the bible tells you "Judge not lest ye be judged", it also tells you that only God has the right to judge. Who are we to tell anyone to how to live their life? "Let ye who are without sin cast the first stone".
I would also like to say that not "everyone" bashes gays. There are many that support the gay community. Unfortunately their voices are lost in the tangle of dogooders voices and aren't heard. I personally support the gay community in their plight. I believe that people that love each other should have the freedom to enjoy that love no matter who it may be. I don't believe that anyone should have the right to tell anyone that they have to love this certain gender or you aren't allowed to have the rights given to the person who does.
All that being said, I am not gay and am happily married to the man of my dreams and I believe that everyone should be able to have that no matter what their sexual orientation.

Ha, very few people bash, and the ones that do are insecure, we don't have a problem, they do.

because i hate when these sickos try to spread their promiscuity and then pass it off as something official! if a man wants to touch a mans butt fine! keep it behind closed doors, i dont want it on television or in public where its in my face and the faces of children!

coz they r close minded people who live in there own lil world where everything goes by the rules of people aroud them family churchs friends etc etc

maybe because they are ignorant bullies that can't just not disapprove of homosexuality
