The only gang website with real information by a resident of Los Angeles that has compiled a huge database on black and latino gangs. The best in cyberspace, bar none. Broken down into specific sets complete with histories, which is something you can't find anywhere else.

First, AVOID actual gang websites. They've been known to use some nasty tracking software/spybots/etc.
There are some good police info websites.
You could also ask your local PD for advice.

Find the West Side of your city and ask around.

the streets =0.. just remember to pack a gun, so this way you have a way to defend yourself when they try and shank you.
