It is easier to change a thought then a belief. A behavior is is intrinsically attached to a belief. It serves a purpose. Following that line of thought a behavior is ingrained as much as our belief system. There in lies the symbiotic connection with wanting to create change and needing to change behavior. This usually requires a subs conscious look at the psyche. Changing out attitude becomes easier when we understand our belief system. Because an attitude change helps to redefine our belief about our behavior.

God, regardless of the depth of ones belief, has never given anyone a sex. Do we need to explain the mommy and daddy bumping uglies story again? A person's sexuality is a mix of genitalia and brain chemistry. Many people are born that are wired differently.I don't remember the exact figure but a significant percent of infants are born hermaphroditic. What about them? Here's the bottom line: it's none of your business. Don't like it? Don't do it. As usual, what you god bots "think" is irrelevant. Are you so small minded that you can't accept the fact some people are born different. How would you feel if you were born with a woman's body but had a mind that was screaming guy stuff at you all the time? Again, no gods involved. @Terra: there's hope for you yet. You have the empathy that many of your fellow Christians lack. Some people are born different.

Definitely. Attitude seems to be the thing that separates the real happy people from the really miserable. Attitude encompasses a lot of things. It makes us receptive to good or bad influences, and when we accept or reject those things that's what makes our behavior change and subsequently makes our lives unfold for better or worse.

What do we say about selfish angry people? They have an "attitude." It takes maturity and the ability to transcend selfish desires for one to gain the attributes of a good attitude. Then simply acting out of it is all that's necessary, because from there good things are added to one's life effortlessly.

I would think one would have to have an attitude change first, then the behavior would change. Not the other way around.

An attitude is how you feel about something... the behavior is a manifestation of your feeling. In other words if your attitude about a person or situation is positive or negative, it reveals itself through the behavior.

Thoughts lead to feelings lead to behavior. Changing behavior first CAN change feelings and thoughts if its repitious and successful, which is highly unlikely...........

No. If behaviour is coerced or followed out of necessity it's just a mask very common as hypocrisy itself.
