I missed the person I fell in love with, but not the ****** I was divorcing. Since I moved out of state before our hearing and I couldn't show up because of my job, the divorce went uncontested.
It took a while to digest everything that took place, but eventually with time I did feel better. And I found others things to do with my time to fill that void that he left inside of me.
If I really think about it, I can bring back those old memories and feel the pain and anger it brought, but I choose not to.

We only had one attorney for the two of us and in a way I was glad since I did not have the money for an attorney. The attorney went to court for us and I was glad since I did not want to go to court. My divorce was over when I received the final divorce papers in the mail. I could finally live my life the way that I wanted to. My ex cheated on me and ended up getting the other woman pregnant and I really did not care. She was nothing but a cheap whore.

it isnt easy to go through a divorce it will take time to heal. Keep yourself busy so your not thinking about it, start going out with your friends again so they can show what you have been missing out on. The sooner you let go the sooner you can move on, and what better way to move on than to putting yourself out there and giving people a chacne to see how great you are

When I stopped buying tequila (after about six months). Isn't that funny? It takes the same amount of time to heal from emotional wounds as it does to heal from a major internal surgery. That makes me see how important trust can be. I will never put up with no ones crap ever again. Especially a dam cheater. Selfish bastards. Good luck, you'll make it my friend.

I don't think you ever get over it....It's like your first memories, your first experiences....They never go away but, you can remember them from time to time and you can always go back to it and retell the story. That's how my divorce is....I can never forget about it but, if I want to I can remember the whole experience like it was yetersday.....
