I know this sounds crazy at first but look around - have you noticed those people whos ear just really doesn't have a lobe - it just goes directly into the cheek?
I like earlobes!

Yes. I have 'detached' earlobes. I know how some people have the attached lobes that run right into their jaw/neck/cheek. Attached earlobes are from a recessive gene meaning you have to inherit the gene from both parents.

I have earlobes.
You'll notice it's partly connected to climate. White people come from colder climates, so their earlobes adapted out, darker people have larger earlobes because their genetic ancestry is from a warmer climate.
Fun stuff, you can play spot the earlobe.

I do, and with 12ga rings in them. What you're seeing is the attached earlobe. Most people don't have that, it's recessive.

yep i'm a earlobe man too, and got two, i think it's genetic, ain't it a strange thing to see it glued to the side of the face.........

I don't! I have those wierd ones that just go right into my head. It was terrible, I could only get the cartilege pierced!
