Well, since you say it was on her way to work, I assume you are talking about your wife...so I suggest you telll your wife, you love her and you'll see her when she gets home.

Its normal to feel bad about it.
Everyone ince in a wile alwais ask themself in relation. What if, and how dos it feel.
You should be honest. tell your wife and even if you get yelled at it will be fix and you will have your consience cleared.

Yo need to be open in a relation. A lot of girl who gave awnser aremean and cruel toward you. Belave me. Since both of you are adult she will get pissy at start ( it IS normal) But after it you and her will talk for a wile, and you will tell her how sorry you are.
