I know all the lies he told werent the sole reason the Iraq war was started but I think he certainly had a part in it especially when he jumped up and said its a slam dunk Mr. President. Of couse he now says that WMDs wasnt what he was talking about. So the lies just keep on coming dont they?

No. Bush and Cheney are the liars. We should get them.

If he lied of course. But all he has to say is, "that was with the information he had he made that conclusion, he was wrong". It isn't a crime to be bad at your job.

The other thing is the dems won't because then Bush can hide behind Tenet and say, he went to war on the information from a lying CIA director. The president can only make decisions on the information he is given, and if the CIA director lied, that means Bush was no more than bamboozled. The dems want to be able to blame Bush for the war not Tenet, who was nominated by Clinton, that could backfire on them.

I think one of the great tragedies of this war is the bipartisan bickering that has divided the people and rendered them impotent. It's obvious to anyone capable of independent thought that both parties have (or have had) a hand in this dirty business. If we can stop pointing fingers and take a hard look at the situation, I think we will finally see that faulty intelligence (and the manipulation or disregard of such intelligence) falls on the shoulders of both parties. As a liberal democrat, I am continually disgusted by the members of my own party that new better but said nothing. Silence is everyone's enemy.

Why, heavens no. He told 60 minutes Sunday, " the CIA never lies". Let alone their great leader. Also if he did he can't remember haha. Another one with a damaged memory.

If we indicted people for lying, there would be no one to guard the prisons.

Still, Tenet is a weasel.
