I think Sox-Yanks Classic would be a great name. These 2 teams have been facing each other since 1903 and there have been some classic rivalries.

Unfortunatly, the Yanks - BoSox series already has a nickname, its usually referred to as "The American League Pennant"

"Red Sox-Yankees" is more than enough.
Always say "Red Sox-Yankees"; never say "Yankees-Red Sox."
"Red Sox-Yankees" is the correct term.
