-3x= 12 - 15
-3x= -3

explanation:
we are going to transpose 15 to the right side, as we have it in the law in algebra, we need to combine similar terms. or you can have the combination of similar terms even without transposing, but with adding/ subtracting a number, which is meant to be trasposed, to the both sides. now, we have it
-3x= 12-15 : -15 is added to the right side because we need to have its opposite operation when we are trying to transpose a particular number to the other side. and the result is -3x= -3 because 12 + (-15) = -3
we are going to divide -3 to both sides to eliminate -3 in the term with a variable, which is -3x. we cancelled out -3 in -3x so we got it x only because negative divided by a negative is
positive. the same with -3/-3= 1.
so the answer is 1. to check it, just substitute the result we have got to the original equation.
15 - 3x= 12
15- 3(1) = 12
15-3= 12
12=12
then we got the same answer in both sides, so our answer is correct!!!

Firstly We Take 15 away from both sides so that the x and its coefficient are on one side, and the whole numbers on the other.
15 - 3x - 15 = 12 - 15
-3x = -3
Now we divide both sides by 3 to eliminate the coefficient of x, which in this case is a three.
-3x = -3
-3x / 3 = -3 / 3
-1x = -1
-x = -1
Now because there are negatives on both sides they eliminate each other. Therefore:
-x = -1
x = 1
