Depends on how it is sent. Generally, two weeks. But it can be as short as 1 week.

Usually about 2 weeks is correct. Even by air, a package will then have to go through Customs and depending on the country, this could slow down the process quite a bit. Canada is usually one of the better countries as far as getting things quickly through customs, but with security being as high as it currently in most countries, I would still expect about 2 weeks.

According to the Japan Post website:

Air parcel from Tokyo to Canada takes 6 days
and SAL (Surface/Economy) takes 2 weeks

Depending on the service you use, it can take anywhere from 5 days to 6 weeks. The faster you want it to arrive, the more you will have to pay.

I have had stuff shipped overnight, that actually too 3 days, no refund.

If it was shipped by ground (Water) it can take months.
If it was shipped by Air, usually 10 days +/- depends on the tailwind of the plane. ;-)

Fedex or UPs are too expencive.
Try EMS. It's the best service by the post office. It takes about a week. and it has tracking too.
