Because Katherine McPhee should have done the honorable thing and stepped down after Chris was voted off. She KNEW that she sucked and that Chris deserved to be there a LOT more than her, but she was so arrogant that she stayed and lost anyhow!!!!

Oh Chris Daughtry might have won if he didn't end up in... fourth place. Chris Daughtry is by far the best of Idol season 5. And he actually produced a memorable song.

He was with the right people at the right time and has the "bad boy look" that women like so much and his songs, are more real. Of course, my humble opinion but I do have Chris's cd. It's actually very good!

It's quite simple, my good chum. The talent of bands/vocalists you hear of from the media is always vastly inferior to that of less popular band.
so, taylor hick's wins american idol, a talent competition. so therefore, he is obligated by media rules to get less coverage.
