Jirk NoSHITsky sucks! This guy is the biggest big game choker around. Right now T-Mack or Baron Davis.

Dirk shouldn't win the MVP period. Dirk is a good shooter but he lacks skills to be a complete player ala Kobe or Steve Nash.

Nash will take over,as the MVP trophy will be given out on the court of 1st game of 2nd rd and if Dirk get eliminated then where will the presentation take place?

I laughed outloud when I read someone say Kobe was a complete player. If complete means selfish, then yeah, Kobes the greatest. Dirk averaged 25pts, 9rbs, 4ast, and 50% shooting from the field. Kobe had 31pts, 5rbs, 5ast, and shot 45%. But Dirk averaged 6 fewer shot a game than Kobe. 31pts a game is impressive, but not when you have to shoot 25 times a game to get it. But Nash should win MVP again.

No, it won't cost him the MVP, BUT ONLY because everyone who voted HAD to vote before the playoffs even began. That is a rule, they are not allowed to vote after. That is because the award is supposed to be based solely on the regular season, not the playoffs. If they started voting now, no question about it, he would not win, Nash would and I think he should anyway. But that really wouldn't be fair because like I said it's supposed to be based on regular season performance only. Not last year, not who won previous years, none of that.

how they play in the playoffs has nothing to do with the SEASON award... Dirk will still win MVP
