I would like to clean my motorcycle tires to ensure that I don't loose traction. What should I clean them with.

I'm thinking household dishwashing liquid, with a good rinse. This would cut through most things including oil.

nylon brush, dishsoap, and lots of water / rinse well

NO chemicals, tireshine, or armorall type stuff (makes tires slick, crack, etc.)
