With the immenant imposing of a no smoking law within public buildings / offices and more and more smokers forced outdoors. Is it acceptable to throw / drop items of stationary (for the sake of arguement, a large red stapler from a 3rd floor window) onto the heads of those forced outdoors? There seems to be a heated discusion going on in our office at the moment about this very subject. And should health warnings appear on the packs about these new smoking associated risks?

it is not acceptable to throw anything from a 3rd floor window..
it is objectionable about who smokes where. The law of health and government are in cahoots together so they have to post a warning disclaimer on cigarettes.. just like they should then now say warning to use sweet and low or the aspartame in yogurts can cause cancer as well.. so if they do it to cigs they should warn label on all foods and drugs too.. i personally feel if i was an owner of a restaurant or bar that I would have the right to say what goes in my establishment and I pay taxes so.. the government or states ruling should say its ok to have one smoking air filtered air conditioned relaxing nice room in any establishment for people to smoke in. as the smoking and booze goes together as that with a high stress environment job etc so its all out of whack.

Ha ha, very good, I would say every single thing in the whole wide world needs a health warning on it just so we are really clued up on what we can and can't do, jeez they'll be putting a tax on the steps we take next.
