yes they sleep but they don't close their eyes

Fish don't have eyelids, so they can't close their eyes. They sleep by shutting down one half of their brain, while the other half stays alert for danger.

yes, fish do sleep. and they do close their eyes. They are unconscious, but a part f their brain is still up which controls there patterns of sleeping and so they dont bump into things

yes they just float in the water in one place ,
and everything sleeps for the same reason ,to rest and to dream
