If I didn't have kids, then I'd say yes.............I would do that in a heartbeat. No fights, no put-downs, no one at work saying my name every 30 seconds, no one asking for money / favors, not hearing gossip, no whining, no bitching, nothing but peace and quiet.....................oh hell YES, I'd do that for a year with no problems in the least.

Ummmm NOPE.
No matter how much we as people want to be alone sometimes, you would litereally go crazy without human contact such as talking, laughing, just regular human interaction. By the time the year was up, you'de be crazy=0

No I don't think I could, for one I'd find it hard to not see my son for a week let alone a year and I'd miss hugs most of all, not the same hugging yourself!!

well it depends were you live..in a city thats not possible to see another human for a year in the desert its possible....

If I had food, a house (the things that I need to survive) yes, even though it would be hard, because nobody likes to be alone for that long.

No. I'd miss my wife and kids too much. Even those people who say they just don't like anyone need human contact.

If I have a quiet weekend I find that bad enough, I don't think I'd come out of a year sane.
