business. I took it upon myself to break the ice and emailed her and told her how wonderful I thought her cards were that she makes/creates. She is always online and she told me how she appreciated my comments. She also asked me to drop her a line to tell her what I'm up to now. I told her exactly that and asked her to tell me the same of her. She hasn't answered me. Don't you think that's rather rude?

how long has it been since you mailed her? A day? A few hours? A week? A month?

If its been a short period of time it may be that she has just got tied up temporarily...or... it could be that she has a lot to tell you about and so is trying to find the time (in between her card making) to give ou afull update...

or yes she could just be rude

Depends exactly what you said you were up to...... I would email again if the friendship is important and say that you have are worried that what you said may have offended her/ apologize and say that you hope to hear from her soon
