someone a favor and they are both important persons in your life, but doing that favor would mean for you to act against your principles, what would you do?

Follow your instincts and principles. You are the only one that has to really live with the consequences of what you do. Sometimes people want you do favors for them to better there lives with disregard of how it effects others.

An important person in your life wouldn't ask you to do something that is against your principles. Do what you know is right. It is your consequence, not theirs.

Explain to the person that you would love to help them but what they are asking goes against your moral/ethical values. If the person is a true friend they will understand and not ask it of you again. If he/she continues to make the request, then you are not as important to him/her as they are to you and it is time to move on.
Friends come and go in our lives. In the end it is our on conscience we must live with forever.

No because I have to look at myself at the end of the day. A true friend will not ask someone to go against what they feel is right.

I wouldn't do it. My principles are above all. If they are important persons in my life, it means we love each other. Therefore, they will understand my denial.

I would never act against my principles. It's not worth it to impress someone or make a new friend or whatever....nuh uh.

It all remains your decision on how far you are willing to bend your beliefs to help a friend in need.I have compromised my principles before and in the long run it was worth it.

I would tell them i love them and i would do anything for them, but im sorry acting against my principles is just something i cant do...i did it once it made me forget who i was...and im still finding my way back, so i just cant do that, im sorry....
