Actually it isn't the alpha personality that determines a dog's tendency to guard. German Shepherds are often bred to have a higher guarding drive. That is bred from a predatory drive which is diminished in some breeds and bred for more extensively in other breeds. Predatory drive includes scent detection, stocking, chasing, biting, shaking the prey, carrying the prey, and killing the prey. Some dogs will not harm animals or ever kill small animals, other dogs are not safe with small animals. Jack Russell Terriers are known to not be trustworthy around cats, although there are some exceptions. Jack Russells, aka Parson Russell Terriers, that are bred from hunting lines often see the cats as “fair game.” A lot of people may want to simply buy a dog known for it's guarding tendencies, but a lot of work needs to go into a dog to make it a good guarding dog. Ironically, most of that work is done to teach the dog who not to bite rather than who to bite. If the dog already has a higher guarding drive, he or she will already be more prone to want to bite in questionable situations. The task then becomes to teach the dog what is and is not a situation where you want the dog to act in an aggressive manner. As far as how the dog gets along with your more submissive dog, that is a different situation altogether. Some dogs are very dog social, while other individuals are not as dog social. Most likely you will not have an issue with that. But you will definitely end up with a dog who bites when you don’t want it to if you don’t train the dog correctly.

hehe females are by nature submissive as shown to us by nature . think "june cleaver off of leave it to beaver" if your with your boyfreind and he is talking witha group of freinds you mostly just remain silent , if he is talking to just you think of cradling your chin in your hands and just listening to him like it was the most interesting of all books . in effect your world revolves around his and your devoted to making his world the best there is . it does work well and can be quite rewarding for a girl . sexually it can be quite entertaining and exciting also . if done right you can also bring out the best of what makes him a man also . and people around you will make comments about you such as now "she is a real lady "
