It depends on her maturity and how responsible her friends are. At 17, my parents let me go overseas with my group of friends, but I was a very mature and responsible 17 year old. Once again I will say it depends on your daughter.

it depends on your daughter...how mature she is, how responsible her friends are etc. i'm 16 and after my exams this summer i'm allowed to go away with some friends for a week but we are staying with a friend's relative. we won't be doing anything that we don't do at parties/sleepovers anyway and my mates are responsible so my parents are cool with it

Only if you trust her now if she has broken that trust in the past then i would say no but she is underage and i know i wouldn't let her unless there where trusted adults present with the group.

i would... i trust my daughter completely... she went last year- at age 17- to the Mountains with her friend for 4 days... that was about the longest she had EVER been away from home, and she enjoyed it!
