Education is what gets you ahead in life. Ignorance is bliss only if you have someone that will take care of you the rest of your life.

Neither of the statements are correct.
Education is about knowledge. Spreading the awareness. It's never dangerous. However, ignoring what's being thaught to you is dangerous. Once you are educated, you realize the difference between right and the wrong. You start off with understanding a stream, which later develops into a river before it plunges into the mighty ocean. Once you get into the stream, you gotta flow with it. Ignorance would stop the stream finally creating a stagnant pond.
Ignorance imaybe bliss for the one's who are self centred. They don't want to care for things around them, they don't want to take over the responsibilities, they don't want to contribute toweards the world. Ignorance makes all that possible.
All the best...
:-)

Education is never dangerous, it is always a good thing, but logic and reason should be tempered with trust in yourself, your gut feelings and emotions.
A certain amount of ignorance actually is bliss. I don't feel that I need to hear all of the world's bad news everyday through the news and focus my attention on the negative. I hear about it anyway, even though I've virtually stopped watching the news or reading the paper, but it's still there in newsflash commercials or on my internet browser, or I hear it through word of mouth. I don't ignore it, but I don't focus on it either.
I believe what we focus on expands, so I've decided to put my focus on the positive in my life. And because of it I am attracting more and more positive things to be grateful for everyday.
For instance, I just had 2 weeks off of work and returned to work yesterday. (I work in a manufacturing plant.) When I walked in, I was informed that the plant was down due to a parts problem and would probably be down for the rest of the week. I went home after an hour and a half and later that night got a call from my supervisor telling me I would not be required to come back to work until next Monday. We are unionized and have a stipulation in our contract that we will get paid what they call short workweek benefits of 75% of our regular wage in a case like this! So, I get another week off AND I'm getting paid for it! Coincidence? Sure, you can say that, but these are the kinds of coincidences that I love attracting into my life!
Oh, and I also found out yesterday that I am getting a HUGE tax return this year as well, so I am blissfully happy that I am also attracting lots of money into my reality.
I think I will keep my focus on the positive and continue to tune out the negative from my life. So far, I'm liking it!
As far as education, I think that we cannot educate ourselves enough. But, even with the so-called "facts" of education we need to use our own mind and intuition to keep what serves us and leave behind that which does not.

Good question, sometimes ignorance is bliss.
Consider the Jesus freaks, evangelicals and other deeply religious folks, all have reverted to that primitive limbic systems of our brains, the place where our deepest emotions reside. The 'born-again' Christian phenomena has a scientific basis. When people are in deep despair, near death, nearly starved, or other highly emotional states, the 'religious experience' is triggered. Hormones, dopamine receptors and other chemical reactions take place...all good for the body. They help to fight diseases, etc. It was a survival mechanism our bodies have devloped since the days of our primitive ancestors.
Those that know the truth however, ie Objective Reality, are not allowing themselves the body's defensive mechanizm that has evolved over time. The closest they (we) can come is to believe in the 'power of positive thinking' which is the closest to religion (use of the limbic system of our brains) that we atheists can get.
I've chosen Objective Reality, even knowing that a delusional worldview could be beneficial to my health and body....go figure.

it somewhat is ordinary which you declare to comprehend further and further via utilising discovering further and further. Is that so? because's what's so humorous a pair of discovering technique: quicker or later you could desire to make the top that there's no end to it, and which you will continually comprehend yet comprehend an somewhat little bit of each thing. that's the place determination is accessible in. One has to make selections and specialize if one does not want to become a walking (and intensely boring) encyclopedia. the ideas-set of discovering, researching, questioning and construction hypothesis and proving all this practise right into a concept could desire to be a existence-pleasing and passionate occupation. 'lack of know-how is a bliss' capacity that issues you comprehend no longer something approximately can not consciously harm you. and because it somewhat is awareness and noticeably self-awareness that makes people doubt and seek for ever, the sentence contains some might-be Zen-like meaning. yet as quickly as you have left that harbor you're on the way of discovery. and that's surprising! by utilising the way the place did you get the thought potential protects you?

Ignorance is a realm where you have more control: You can know "if you want to" or ignore because "you don't want to"; like a line that can be crossed whenever you deem yourself ready. But once you cross that line and acquire knowledge, everything is different. Once you know something, you really can't un-know it; especially if it falls into the category of "you don't want to"
Ignorance is bliss...but it's also ignorance.
knowledge is power...but it can also be dangerous. Just ask Adam and Eve

Yes, both & neither sounds about right.
When you're ignorant, you're only blissful because you don't have a clue.
