I am usually in invisible mode on my Yahoo messenger because otherwise every time I am online it tells a long list of people that I am sitting here trying to check my email,do all the other things I need to get done and maybe find some time to answer your question.Then they all want to chat and everything else has to go on hold.
The fact is that like most people I only have a limited amount of spare time to spend on the internet and much as I would like to chat with friends,there are a lot of messages piling up in my inbox and it would not be fair to keep them on hold too long.I do chat when I have time,but that is not as often as I would like.
Of course when I am not invisible,most of my friends are.But that is life and we can still communicate through email,blogs and a lot of other ways.It is easier that way because of time differences between here and the rest of the world.That could be up to 24 hours.I am not only invisible,I am also in another time and place.But I am here for the moment and you can read this later! Maybe some people will read it before it was posted(or even the day after).

I get nervous around people and dont like being at the centre of attention could also be a weight issue or a trust issue.
I prefer to blend in to the background. Lack of confidence and self esteem.
Because i can listen without being seen and you learn a lot more that way?

Cause it comes naturally. I never really learned how to turn off invisible mode yet...Its ok, I'll figure it out eventually.
