so here's the thing , when we r sittin in a group ,my best friend keeps on tellin jokes that i would luv 2 say that they're funny , but they're not , now when she does that every body just keeps on starin at her , n i try 2 save the situation by laughin n changin the subject . but i feel that i should say something before somebody else does , so how can i tell my bestfriend that her jokes r lame without hirtin her feelings??????????

OK, she's your best friend, right? You have access to a computer so have your search engine go to "Jokes". Find a dozen or so simple but funny clean jokes, print them out and give them to your friend. Maybe she will get the hint and begin to tell jokes that your friends will laugh at. It sounds like your friend is a bit insecure and is seeking approval/attention that she is not getting from her "friends" or at home. You can help by reinforcing her ego in some "not-so-obvious" ways, then she may not feel the need to tell jokes but to let others tell their jokes that she can laugh at. Good luck.

True friends should always help each other and i think u should help her..coz later she'll thank u for it.
U just have to understand that a few people my hurt her feelings by saying stuff .. but u may just make her feel the same..so tell it to her very softly and always believe that one day she'll thank you for it..
She may be a little Apprehensive at first but when she says another of those jokes after u tell her she'll notice what look the people have when they hear her Gag..
She'll understand soon...

My brother used to do the same thing. Some times they grow out of it. Sometimes they don't.
You need to take her aside and tell her that why you love her jokes, no one else seems to, and maybe she just needs to tell them to you privately.

well i like your attitude of concerned for your friend ,if she tells jokes than she got good sense of humour so tell her directly about the things if you both are good freinds then their will be no problems she will understand it .
