Just yesterday I was out walking to the library in the rain. It wasn't a hard rain, it was one of those soft gentle ones that smell so good.

Yep, I enjoy it by standing in the rain. It feels good just to let the rain fall on you. Really. Everyone should try it at least once.

I enjoyed it last night....my 8 year old little boy decided he would run down the street (in the rain) with just his underwear on and a colorful umbrella in hand. It made me laugh cuz he looked very silly. That was enjoyable.
Typically I dont really like rain if its just a mild storm...I really need a super strong thunderstorm to fully enjoy it. Otherwise its just annoying.

The smell is the best part. My son and I sit in front of an open living room window and watch the rain. When I splashes in my sons face I love to watch his reaction change to being really happy!

if it is warm we go out and take a walk
it is so nice to smell the fresh air and enjoy the view walking in it
and if it is a cold damp rain it is a good day to snuggle on the couch with my honey and son and read or watch a movie

When we were children, my parents would allow us to play out in summer storms as long as there was no lightening. It was probably the most intensely enjoyable experience of my life. Running through a rainstorm and just throwing up your arms and face to receive the drops all over your body makes one feel completely alive.
I think I want to re-experience that. The first summer storm we have without lightening, I'll be embarrassing my children by running and spinning in the front yard.

I enjoy it because that's when I see the Ghosts of the Chippewa Indians move through the mist across my meadow.
