Some of the things I've done in the past make me laugh at myself for being an idiot, a drunk, a show off, a sucker, a stone-head, a jealous idiot and a head strong stubborn-as-can-be-person
Then theres the things that made me feel sorry for my mum,
Doing dare devil stunts, (that could've killed me a dozen times), fighting, driving drunk and crashing, taking the police home every 2nd weekend (for 3 months of my 16 year old life), for letting her hear a judge say 'If she ends up back in my court room, bring her toothbrush! Coz she won't be going home!'
Then there's the 15 years after all of that, and I look back and I realize I just lived that's all.

Some make me laugh, but some were bad enough that I really feel sorry about them. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the clock and change them.

That depends on the situation. After a few bevvies, the (many!) dumb things that Ive done are hilarious. When it's a friend or family member telling my partner about my falling 5m out of a tree stark naked as a six year old...Well... not so funny!

I try not to think of them. But when I am reminded i feel myself go bright red and cringe but sometimes I have a little giggle at how stupid I was.

My counsellor tells me I may as well laugh about them - she knows I've learnt what I need from those mistakes, There's no point lingering on the negative.
