How do I create a more female eye?

Question

I am a transgendered girl, which means I was born a male but have had surgeries to become female. My question to you is about eye-makeup. I try to transform my more male eye into a female eye. To get you up to speed, male eyes tend to be closer together, deeper set, the eye itself tends to be smaller vertically and horizontally , less curved and expressive, and a males eye opening tends to be more squinty as where females tend to have more open eyes. I am having trouble understanding how to employ eyeliners and eyeshadows to create a more female eye. My biggest problem is when I look up online for information on how to use makeup for a bigger eye, an almost uninimous answer is to use a light or shimmery eyeshadow on the lid. I find this makes my lid appear bigger and then my eye more squintier in contrast. I need help! I appreciate your suggestions and thank you in advance for your help. Lisa

I think the one thing you need to start with is eyelashes. They will open your eye, make it appear more feminine and make anything else you do look prettier. There are eyelash extensions where they add longer hairs to your existing eyelashes, or you can invest in false eyelashes.

I would also go to a make up counter and have someone teach you how to put on your eyelashes and eye make up. If you aren't ready for that, ask a girlfriend, you mom, your sister, a friend to help you out.

I never wear eyeshadow. I curl my eyelashes, use eyeliner on my top lid, wear mascara and swipe a little blush on my brow bones. I think I look bizarre with eyeshadow because I have really big eyes, so I go without.

Try to use brown shades. Medium to light, if you use a dark shade then only use it in the crease of the eye. The most important hint I could give you is if your eyes are big to make smaller use an eyeliner from inside of eyelid to out side on the top and the bottom. It will make them seem smaller but be careful not to make the line to heavy on the bottom. If you want to make them seem larger only apply from center of eyelid to outside gradually making the line a litte thicker as you get to the outside of eyelid on top lid and make a thinner line on bottom with the same pricipal as top. Apply mascara. Hope this helps some.

the handiest thing i have found for making my eyes pop is an eyelash curler. curlers are cheap and easy to use, after a little bit of practice. curl your lashes and then apply mascara to hold the curl and make your lashes darker, thicker, and longer (looking). also, if you wear a dark eyeliner, then putting just a dot of white eyeliner (or any light color, whatever your preference is) on the inside corner of your eye.

notice how in cartoons and comics and stuff, what is the major thing that seperates a boy from a girl? big eyelashes! they're girly. :) good luck!

I ve never worked on transgenders eye but if light eyeshadows not working for u.Then try dark shades try any dark dark shade like gypsy black or dark ash grey on ur lid area on countor try a light shade compare to the lid which ll blend finely with the like dark brown ,bronze or ash grey & on highlight try the blush shade ur using at that time.That ll give u the somkey eye look .

use contaclens or shades for your eyes. eyeliners. make-ups. just go to the parlor if you cant manage yourself. u can have surgery to if you want.
