When you divide any whole number by 6, the remainder must be 0 through 5. How do you get a remainder of 13 dividing by 6?

This doesn't quite make sense - if you're dividing by 6 you should only ever get a remainder between 0 and 5.

However, the answer would be 6×166 + 13 = 1009.

If you divide by 6 the remainder should be only 0,1,2,3,4 or 5

Guess the number equals n.
n/6 = 166 remainder 13
n/6 = 166 + 13/6
n = 166 x 6 + 13
n =1009
