I believe in both. I think to a certain degree you can shape your own destiny but somethings happen, good or bad, and it becomes clear that destiny is also a powerful force to deal with.

Hi Rebellion, I sure do believe in destiny. We all are trying to complete our search of who we really are and what we are going to do. But my destiny has lead me to someone who i let walk out of my life 36 years ago. I have found him and all those years gone and our destiny was to stay with each other and live out the remaining years together. We both thing GOD is giving us this second chance to be together. We both believe we are each others true soul mate. I feel like i have meant him in a past life and he says the same to. We have 3000 miles separating us and i am going to fly to him in September of this year, and stay 7 days with him and see if we can make this work for us. This is our true destiny and it's what was meant to be.

It is tempting to think that there is a destiny. I used to think this when I saw how bad situations tuned into good ones in my life.
But This is just a comforting feeling that we have. It really is just choice and decisions effected by our surroundings. There are so many random variables effecting our choices that we don't always get what we aimed for, and are misled to think that there is such a thing as destiny.

I believe in choice....and i dont believe in destiny but i do know that there are some things in life that you just cannot control..and i really dont know what to call that except for...just life.

I believe that there is a little of both in our lives. I believe I was destined to meet my wife because there is no other explanation for how we met. But I also believe I could have chose not to pursue her as I did.
