I have been approched by my boss that I could be investigated for having a private relationship with a co-worker. This relationship has not affected by job performance. Actually I have been in this relationship for over a year and it just came to his attention. Now he wants to switch our shifts, although there have been many coulples at our work. Any advise or recourse?

There is no company policy for this. and there are other couples on other shifts that have not had to change shifts.

Most companies frown on office romances. They have proven to be a pain in the neck for managers and co-workers.

Yes he can reassign you but he can't force you to stop seeing the other employee. He would have to let one of you go for some other reason.

Never date anyone you work with.
Is it in writing that you can't be in a relationship
with a co-worker?
One of you can change jobs.
Your Boss isn't playing, and this isn't
harassment.

investigated? are you c.i.a.? NO your employer does NOT have the right to interfere in a private relationship or to hurt your career as long as your work is unaffected by it.
