with me sometime ( we all used to play together as kids, and have now grown up). Unfortunately, my friend wasn't at home at the time, so I told her mum that I'd be in touch with my friend at a later date. I decided to make a home made card and inside it, I put "Would you consider coming along with me one day to the shopping centre? If so, let me know when you're ready". I've not heard a thing. She's ignored my card and she still goes to the shops with other people. I feel so hurt when I see her walk down the road with others. She could have at least replied to my kind card. What should I do now?

awww that's not very nice is it?...she could have replied with a yes or a no, but there was no need to ignore you...maybe you should stop asking from now on...it's obvious that she does not want to go with you....ask another friend who is willing to go shopping with you..this one doesn't seem to appreciate you....it was a very nice gesture by sending the card though....just seems like she didn't appreciate it....

Oof, i'm sorry this isn't nice. Why don't you either try calling her on the phone or popping around to her house again and speaking directly with her?
Then you will know her true intentions. It is maybe that she has just been busy.
Did you put your email or mobile no on your card?

Good Luck!

i know this must really hurt!!! i am older now but i remember how much it hurts when i was a child so can imagine its not much different!! you have two choices, one is to go round ask her if you have upset her and ask why she is ignoring you, or two move on tell yourself who needs friends like that!!! im sure you are alovely person who can make new friends who wont leave you feeling upset!! x

Just rise above it, and ignore her. If she doesn't want to know that's fine, there are other friends out there. If she ever brings it up just be completely noncholant, like 'oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that!'.
Don't let her know it bothers you, she will come to you one day, and who knows, you might not be interested yourself then!

Get her number and give her a call, ask her if she got your card, and what happened, maybe there's some explanation, find out. Life is too short to wonder what happened. find out, you will feel worlds better.

Forget her as it is quite obviously that she wants nothing to do with you, plenty of other girls I am sure would like to go out with you and be pampered a little.

Honey, don't assume she received your card just because you gave it to her mum. If her mum dont' like you guess where your card ended up? In the dust bin.
