Soulface . . I agree on Zep. Saw them in the 70's. No one could hole a candle to Bonham & Plant. . . . btw.. which Beatle had the middle name of Winston named after Churchhill?
I like the other bands mentioned too. I agree the music was great then from Cream, Iron Butterfly & Jimi to Smokey & Diana.

Led Zeppelin, sung by Robert Plant, played by Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and John Henry Bonham, "The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair"
The Beatles, sung by John Lennon, played by Richard Starskey(Ringo Starr),also sung by Paul Mccartney, George Harrison. "Dig a Pony" It was the 2nd to last song they ever played live(In London on a roof) google video search "beatles rooftop" It's in 3 parts and is really cool.

John Winston Lennon and I hate Led Zeppelin. To hear Robert Plant sing is like nails on a chalkboard! I love the 60's. The latter half of the 60's was my high school years so I have lots of memorable songs. One that does come in my head alot is Aquarius by The Fifth Dimension. I find myself singing that one alot when I'm cleaning the house.

It's usually the Stones' Satisfaction or something by Herman's Hermits--and I wasn't really a Hermits fan but their songs were so simple that my brain was able to remember every single word of every song they had on AM radio at the time. Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely daughter (with that Manchester accent he had), or I'm 'enry the 8th I am, There's a Kind of Hush all over the world. But then there are times I'm singing Wild Thing, Game of Love, Louie Louie, Wolly Bully, Mony Mony, many Chuck Berry songs...actually, there were just so many good songs back then.

I hum along to the tune of "Hush" by Deep Purple, especially when the superstore I work in is filled with the noise of children crying.
