S.L.Malinga of Sri Lanka wasthe bowler who took hat-trick in cricket world cup 2007.

He took four wickets in consecutive balls in the match played between Sri Lanka and South Africa at Providence Stadium, Guyana on 28th March, 2007. Hetook the following wickets in that match:

1) Clean bowled S.M.Pollock in 44.5overs
2) A.J.Hall was caught by U. Tharanga at the bowling of
Malinga in 44.6overs
3) J.H.Kallis was caught by Sangakkara atthe bowling of
Malinga in 46.1overs.
4) M. Mitini was cleaned by Malinga in 46.2overs.

His bowling analysis of that match was 9.2overs, 54 runs and
4 wickets.

he should have been awarded " man of the Tournament"
