Worst way to die?

What do you think is the worst way to die without it being in a violent way?

I would say, you fall into a coma and people assume you are dead, so they practically bury you alive. And you wake up in a casket and its so stuffy, no air, the pressure, just waking up and trying and trying to get out but knowing ur gonna die. So you just have to lay there and wait til you eventually run out of air and suffer. Can you imagine it? Damn.

Being burned alive. Burning to death is the worst way to go, hands down.

I would say drowning because it would be all of the same feelings of helplessness and no air, the pressure and the knowledge that there is nothing you can do, but the added twist is that you can look up and see the surface of the water and you KNOW that there is a way out and that life is up there but you can't get to it. That would be worse than in a coffin I think.

Being burned alive.....then someone throwing you in water so you don't die..then leaving you out in the middle of the forest with sweltering blisters and burned, peeled skin and then acid rain falls on you and then your wounds get infected, and then flies come for you and lay their eggs on your open third degree burns and then the maggots eat your flesh and you sit there and just cringe and scream in pain and die...........

That is probably the worst way to die!

The scenario you paint as worst death is no longer possible thank goodness. Funeral homes drain the body of fluids such as blood for embalming. If you were not dead before, you will be after the embalming so there will be no waking up in the coffin.

I can't imagine just lying there in a hospital bed for years and years with a disease that is eating up the inside of my body, knowing that eventually I'll just quit working one day.

Being eaten alive by a wild animal. IE; Crocodile, Shark, Bear

You go caving and it rains outside while you are still inside. I'm talking flash flood torrential rains. Of course you don't hear the floods of water until it is to late and you drown in the depths of the earth. Who would find you? Talk about claustrophobia.

I think it's starvation and thirst.

And maybe being stuck in a cabinet after your teacher locked you in there for being so much of a naughty kid and forgot about you till the next morning. This is a true story. :'(

That sort of stuff doesn't happen anymore due to our advanced medical abilities. However, the worst way to die would be sick, helpless, indigent and not have anybody that cared at all.
