Kevin Garnett will mostly likely be moved because of the revamping of the Minnesota Timberwolves team and developing younger talent. Garnett is a veteran player but the Los Angles Lakers? I doubt it

Dear www.,

As much as it breaks my heart to say it, chances are Garnett will not be a Laker next year (though there is a good chance he will be on the year after).

Reasons:

1) Garnett has taken a public stance that he will not ask for a trade. And management has said that they will not trade him. He can opt-out of his contract after next season-- many think the Wolves should trade him so they get something instead of nothing. Kevin has showed a deep loyalty to the Wolves.

2) Kevin McHale (former Celtic) is the GM of the Wolves- would he really want to trade his franchise player and make the team he spent years trying to destroy a force in the league again?

3) The Lakers really can't offer the best players for Garnett. Would getting Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, and whatever garbage they throw in the even out the salaries really benefit the Wolves? (Other teams can offer more- from a business stand point too-- how many people would pay money to see Odom and Bynum?) The Wolves fans would be livid.

4) Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss has yet to spend money on a big name player. They had the chances to get: Baron Davis, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, and didn't pull the trigger. They think they have the nucleus for the future (the problem is Laker fans don't want to wait three years and realize they were wrong) esp. when Kobe will be way past his prime. They are used to Championships and they're hungry for one now!

Anyhow i hope and pray that i'm wrong, but i think reality is what it is... The 2nd best transaction we can make is fire Kup and re-hire Jerry West!

Waiting for the return of Glory Days in Lakerland.

Kobe is not a ballhog.

1. He's a SHOOTING GUARD, whose job is not to pass.
2. He's got the most assists in the whole team this season.
3. The team normally loses when he starts passing.

Shaq left because Kobe's a ballhog. You think he'll follow?
