like for eg. having doors opened for them, being taken out, wined and dined, and etc? or are they really into the whole 'equality' business in every aspect?

lol...it is kinda hypocritical...and kinda narcisstic of them too...like on one hand they expect and demand respect and all that, claiming they're self sufficient, and on the other hand they expect to be treated like a precious little thing by men! loool

just as a side note, i like a manly kinda man, and it's sad that chivalry is rare these days...i'm not really into feminism..i can't imagine being equal to men in any respect :) we've already been blessed with our womanly wiles, (add a good dose of common sense, a loving heart and u're all woman...nothing can change that) :D

I think it has a lot to do with how you're raised.

Yes, I expect people to hold open a door for me if they're going through ahead of me. Just like I hold open the door for other folks. I find it courteous for someone to help me carry things if I'm obviously having trouble, just like I would offer to help someone else.

People without manners are annoying regardless. I don't expect to be treated like a 'precious' anything, I just desire courteous behavior from everyone, men and women alike.

I don't buy the 100% independent, I can do it myself attitude. Think about it. If a woman was especially nice and courteous to a man, he would probably feel pretty good about it. We all like to feel that someone thinks of us as special.

Well not every feminist is the same or has the same views/opinions. I'm sure some like it and some don't. Some probably don't even care either way.

if when you say 'lady' you mean 'poor defenseless creature who can't handle themself', almost all feminists would say hell no.

if 'treated like a lady' means being a decent individual who can actually demonstrate taking someone's concerns and well-being into consideration, then feminists would love to be treated like one.

i mean, who doesn't like having somebody buy them dinner?

Yes, actually.
I actually think that making men do all these courtesies is quite empowering for us.
